Library News

We have had a great start to the term and it has been wonderful to see so many students and families utilising the library before school. Not only are we seeing students returning and borrowing books before school but many students are bringing family members in to build with our construction blocks, play chess, draw and read together.

There are no formal library sessions for Prep and Grade One students in Term 3, so students are encouraged to return and borrow books before school and at lunchtimes.

Our library is open every morning before school from 8.45 am -9.00 am and Monday, Tuesday and Thursday lunchtime from 1.25 pm – 1.50 pm.

Story time

We are offering special story time sessions to Grade Prep and One students every Tuesday lunchtime during Term 3 from 1.10 – 1.25 pm. These sessions will be taken by our fabulous Grade 6 library leaders where they will read and talk about books from our new arrivals area. Our story time sessions begin Tuesday 25th July. An announcement will be made to remind Prep and Grade One students to come to the library if they wish. We look forward to seeing you there.

Thankyou

Wendy Keogh
