NOTICIAS FROM THE SPANISH CLASSROOM

Hola a todos,

What a fantastic time it has been in Term 3 for our Spanish Classroom. This term we welcomed back Year 2s and Year 5s. The Year 5 students have been reviewing past lessons including numbers and feelings and learning new topics including how to say their age.

¿Cuántos anos tienes? How old are you?

Tengo diez años. I am ten years old.

Foundation and Year 1s have been learning about colours using a new song Colores y Números (Colours and Numbers) by Rocaklingua.

It would be a fantastic if you could play this song at home and practice some of the colours and numbers with your little ones.

Yellow: Amarillo One: Uno
Blue: Azul Two: Dos
Red : rojo Three: Tres
Green: Verde Four: Cuatro
Pink: Rosado/rosa Five: Cinco
White: Blanco Six: Seis
Black: Negro Seven: Siete
Purple: Morado Eight: Ocho
Brown: Café Nine: Nueve
Orange: Anarajando/naranja Ten: Diez
